Limiter causing flange effect?

Yesterday when I did some fooling around on a track and added a limiter to the master buss it added this subtle flange effect to everything. Any idea as to why?

Possibly pumping from the low end energy. I hear spots where it kinda drops out and that's what it sounds like to me.

Less limiting And more compressing and clipping to get it loud enough.

okay. my master chain is this: EQ, multicomp, limiter
need to work on the guitar sound though, a bit too nasal for my taste.
