I recently decided to test the full capabilities of the recording function of my Line 6 spider 2 amp to see if it could compete with the POD / POD XT .... to my surprise it didnt' do too bad a job...pretty clear tone .

Sounds okay to me....(listening through some shit headphones though)

Rhythm guitars strike me as too loud. Lead guitar gets lost. Not overly ecstatic about the guitar sound though... has too much of that flat, digital, 2d sound to it for me.

Mix as a whole has a bit of vibe about it, considering that most of the elements are artificial, so good job on that.

Noo bass guitar ???

Definitely has that digital sound. Actually its kinda weak. You can get better tones than this out of the spider 2. I had one for a few months. It sounded ALOT better than that.

Was that recordrd direct or with a mic. If with a mic ..what kinds and what kind of pre.
