I heard from a friend that Michael Romeo used a Line6 PODxt for his guitar sound on The Odyssey. Does anyone know if he plugged the PODxt straight into the mixer/computer or did he go thru an amp and then mic it?

I read from one interview that he used mesa/boogie amp for most parts of the odyssey and Engl amp for some parts, he might have used POD also, but don't think he went direct from the pod, atleast I wouldn't If I had Mesa or Engl amp, heh.

He uses a Vetta live. I read in some chat somewhere he mostly uses the Uberschall and the JCM800 models and each song has a different preset

He used an Engl powerball and Dual Rectifier heads to record the Odyssey (and I believe I read he only used a POD to do clean guitars). On the Vetta when I spoke to him after their show in Worcester on the mini Odyssey tour (with Seven Witches) he said he was using Engl and Bogner models for his sounds.
