Me too have listened a lot to this song to try to appreciate it. I like it a lot, but the more I listen to it the more similarities I find with other songs. Guitar solos and harmonies are almost the same as Brave new world notes for notes, and the beginning, like you said sound a lot like blood brothers.
I think the album will be very good if the other song are in the same style, a bit Xfactor influenced. I like it.

I downloaded a song claiming to be "New Frontier" from the new CD. The vocalist sounded like Bruce, but it was a really weak song. I hope it's not really the song it claims to be.

If that album just has equivalents to Brave New World, Ghost of the Navigator and The Wickerman I will be happy....the rest don't all have to be Hallowed or the Trooper...The Brave New World album had to grow on me and then I loved it.

Yeah, true, they don't have to be instant classics to be good...
Bruce's voice sounds like the Chemical Wedding, so I'm not complaning...
More Bruce songwriting would be best for me, but this record doesn't have enough of it... but again, I'll reserve full judgement until I have the complete package in me grubby hands...
But by the looks of it, Steve needs to let go of the reins a little bit... The beginning of Dance of Death sounds like something out of a Spinal Tap record...
"Let me tell you a story to chill your bones"?? Stonehenge, anyone? LOL

I heard a very weak song from the new album on the Direct TV music metal channel. I hope it is the worse song on the album. If not, we are all doomed!
