listening to the new rhapsody album

hey its good to finally have their cheesy ass narrations read by someone good(christopher lee) and to hear their music played by a real orchestra.

there's still no really amazing thrashy type stuff like from their last album but at least i didn't cringe during their token ballad.

ok just passed the mid section of the album with some filler. hey i wasn't expecting a flawless piece of work here.

pps. i also bought Brian Wilson's "Smile" so that will be next on the cd player.

luca turilli's tone and guitar solos are a little more interesting this time around even if he is still fixated on sweeping.

Turilli can put together a terrific sounding album.

and that Smile thing is very intriguing but I wonder how much I'd listen to it. That's the trouble with so-called "legendary" works of art that nobody has ever heard; how could it live up to the hype of the original project.

avi: i honestly think any rhapsody stuff i give you will be from their other albums. and yes i plan on making it the weekend before i leave for tour at my parents house with their burner since my work computer sucks.
