i know the alesis d4 and DM5 are decent, what about other modules? what about roland? DDrum? Yamaha

I'm ready to throw my DM5 out the door! I've fucked with the velocity and all the other parameters, and still get random triggering. My drummer is real consistent with his hits. I have the red Ddrum triggers. Yeah, I'm looking for somethin' different too.

Cant go wrong with the Ddrum 4. At least I think itsi 4, not the newest one. I'm sure the newest is fine but I have seen that one work great. Not cheap though.

A few drummers have asked me this, and I never have an answer... Is there any kind of module that's essentially just a sampler, where you load your own in? Like just a kick or something, but using any kick sample you want, and not having to buy the full on brain for features you wouldn't use?
