Hey all!

I'm planning on making my (hopefully) life-long purchase of road cases for my amp, cab, wireless, etc.

My GOAL someday is to run everything with a simple Midi controller front of stage, and have that control all the pedals i have in a case in the rack. I also want to include my PodXT Pro for clean tones, etc. in the mix.

SO this leads me here:

Affordable-Cases.com is where i've found a lot of good stuff, like $100 less than its competitors. It seems very solid as well. I would be getting the Peavey 6505 412 cab one, which sets me back $350, then going to Amps/Rack.

I have 2 6505+'s. I would like to include one with me on the road as a backup of course. So getting the 2 head case fitted to Peavey 6505+. Okay, then it comes to the rack setup... Here's where i'd like some experienced opinions...

I would use:

1sp Power Conditioner
1sp Sennheiser G2 Wireless
2sp PodXT Pro
--- ^ already own ^ ---
1sp GCX Audio Switcher (MIDI Controller) (http://www.voodoolab.com/gcx.htm)
1sp Pedal drawer

now questioning, will all the 5-6, maybe 7 or 8 pedals i would use to be controlled via MIDI be able to fit in 1 rack sp drawer? assuming so.

Then run front of stage: the Ground Controller Pro (http://www.voodoolab.com/gcontrolpro.htm)

so, i could then run live with a 6sp rack. This would ideally be an expandable rig, what with analog pedal control, as well as MIDI to pod, and various pedals that support it to control them.

I could ideally do ANYTHING with this rig for life. PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. This leads me to the 6sp dual head case: $527

But should i consider getting an 8sp now for a little extra $$, and expandability?? Do pedal drawers require 2sp? and now i'm think i'd need a tuner as well... this would take me to 8sp... oy vey... Any suggestions?

All assistance is appreciated! Thanks!
