Locking the Tempo track in Cubase 4

I don't know the specific term for this so I didn't know what to search. So can I lock the tempo under certain riffs so after the fact when i'm moving shit around the tempo track will move with the riffs and I won't have to go in manually and fix the Tempo Track???
