I read that shit on these boards all the time! You can "get away with" a lot more if you're in (DIY) punk, or indie, or old guy stuff if you're Robert freaking Fripp....

What you obviously cannot comprehend and sorry if I sound harsh, is that the thread turned into "ATTRACTIVENESS (AKA LOOKS not LOOK" matters in metal.. When in fact it DOESN'T!
I would agree that a "look" is required in some metal bands (retarded), ala long hair etc.

Obviously if you read the other posts you would have gotten that it was about attractiveness/sexiness not a certain look.

Its all about the damn music man, when im driving in my car listening to Shade Empire or whoever, I'm not thinking about what they look like, or if their looks INFLUENCE me into listening to them...
