they are american...pretty different to COB but at the same time very simliar...very melodic yet very heavy.But for me SF are all about the vocals, the singer is amazing...he can do amazing clean vocals and scream vocals but its weird he can kinda shout but with a note.Download 'crushing belial' for a thrash classic or 'to ashes' which is an amazing song.I havent got all of their new album, you cant get it in the UK yet :-(
