Looking for more like Wintersun

For anyone not familiar with Wintersun, check this out the solo starts at 2:47, which is one of the best solo sections i've heard.

I've also gone back and listened to Jari Mäenpää with Ensiferum.

Does anyone have any recommendations that are like this? I wish they would finish their new album, but it seems to be taking many years to complete.

I second this, it was the first stuff that came to mind. Kalmah tends to be quite fast too. Insomnium are more mid-paced and even doomy, but an awesome band nevertheless.

kalmah is the best rec. ensiferum is another choice. wintersun was started by former members of ensiferum

Wintersun have some things similar with all these bands but are pretty much a genre on it's own.

But Kalmah would be my first choice after Wintersun
