Bands like old Ulver and Primordial have acoustics works that are just beyond epic and too intense for human ears. Opeth has some early stuff that's similar, but not nearly enough material to fill me up, and I can't find other bands that match this kinda stuff, I can't stop listening to it, and I want more acoustic work similar to this, preferably more similar to Ulver's style, but any and all help is much appreciated, as always:

Well, the first that comes to mind is Agalloch, but they're fairly obvious.
Perhaps early October Falls, before it went metal

edit: Not to say that their metal shit isn't good, I actually prefer it, and you'll dig it too if you like Primordial and Ulver, but its just less acoustic.

that was an aural eargasm that was sorely needed, thank you man. I'm looking into agalloch right now (song names all look like pretty cheese black metal so far, but we'll see.)

Yeah Empyrium were great as long as the singer didn't try to sing. Ode to Melancholy, while musically beautiful, has horrid vox.

Fortunately for you, there are very few songs with vocals.

Also, you can't go wrong with Agalloch.

EVER.

Just listened to this gem for the first time today. I came a lot.
