Looking for some ACCEPT & DIO clones?

For ACCEPT bands I know of...

I know of TYRAN PACE, BULLET, RAILWAY, & X-WILD...


For DIO clones I know of ...

ASTRAL DOORS, JORN, but thats about it!

Why you mentioned "Sykes" I imagine you are referring to John Sykes (forgive my idiocy) ?

I didnt know he had a solo proect... Cant find his solo band info on www.metal-archives.com can you somewhat point me in the right direction?

TYRAN' PACE (with a young Ralf Scheepers on vox) was more of a Priest clone than an Accept one IMO. But it was a very good 80s traditional metal band anyway.

UNREST could be a mix of Accept & Running Wild. Very nice German metal.

HAWK-s/t (1986) could qualify as a good Dio-styled band, with the excellent David Fefolt on vox

FIREWOLFE (David Fefolt's new band) released a killer s/t album last year. Again, traditional HM that could fit the Dio-style.

The singer for that album was Schmoulik Avigal, the same dude from the Avigal-Unbroken video I posted above. The Rods-HTT was a very good disc IMO.

This one is always overlooked when discussing Whitesnake sounding bands, but don't make the mistake of not checking this one out! It's awesome!
