Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers DVD

I got it on VCD a while back because I didnt go to the cinema to watch it and wanted to see it, but im going to get the 5 dvd one in November I think (is the one you got 2 cds Gorey?)

Great movie too, way better than the first one

Yeah I got the 2 DVD one. I don't think the 5 volume one is out yet, and I'm seriously not that much of a nerd to buy it. :) weetbix bought the collector's edition of the first film and most of the other 4 DVDs was real train-spotter stuff. Still, if that's what floats your boat. I need my money to buy a house.

How much is it selling for? In the paper in Tassie on one page Safeway (Woolworths) had it advertised for $32, and on the next page Coles had it for $28. I wanna get it, but then I suppose I'd better get a DVD player first.....

Ah, but the first one has the original cinema version of the film, which isn't available on the collector's edition. :) That's my reasoning for getting both, anyway.

I'm going to wait until I can get the soopadoopa 50 disc stone box-set bound in hobbit skins and soaked in dwarf vomit, containing all three films. Should be released some time next Christmas.

Yeah, I was thinking of waiting for a super doopa box set of the three films, but I figured I would still buy the best editions now in case there isn't a box set of the three films. Also, if they do make one, I doubt it will have 4 to 5 discs for each film. That is a 12 to 15 disc DVD box set for 3 films. So you will cover more ground getting the gift sets for each film.

Last year I got the 2-disc and 4-disc versions... will get the same this year too. The movies are different and the extras are different too. I want it ALL!!!

Btw...The Return of the King preview looks pretty cool!

My kids have watched it ,even my 6 year old but it dos'nt really as goreripper say" Float my boat" in any way .......dont do nothing for me ......... now if it was the Goodies on DVD i'd be exicted........
