Is there going to be a 4 disc version of the TTT? We didn't want the silly bookend things so we bought the 4 disc of TFOTR.


Easy on the plot lines guys, some of us apes haven't read the books and don't know what's going to happen.

I disagree! I like the scouring of the shire..... I think it's an interesting extension... Otherwise it would be too "ring is destroyed, and we all go straight back to normal". But it's Jackson's job. He's done a great job so far, so nothing to complain about.

I hope it doesn't end too quickly though. And I was gonna say something, but i realised it'd kinda spoil it.

the battle scenes should be fuckin amazing indeed! Can't wait to see Mordor though, the footage so far looks absolutely mindblowing. I love the bit in TTT right at the end, where we are on Gollum, and the camera pans up to show mordor, with the Nazgul flying overhead. great stuff!

Seriously, I feel the book in some parts is about growth and with
The hobbits overtaking sharkey and running him out of The Shire shows just how much they have changed. Even physically with Merry and Pippin and of course the love which has blossomed between Sam and Frodo. It's a magical thing.
