Lordi signs to The End Records

Matt brought this up last night.

It reads bizarrely, but probably makes good business sense. Also, I think signing a band like Lordi (who will sell plenty of records) is definitely better than suddenly acquiring some blatantly commercial band where it is obvious making money is the primary aim.

I don't really care. The End is one of the best labels around. Signing Lordi isn't going to change that. They will still be the label that signs bands like Winds, Age Of Silence, Green Carnation (I think they are on The End), Sigh etc.

Yeah, and I said that TER is on crack these days.

Good business sense, but they're on crack.

LOL. ur gay.

Did anyone consider that signing Lordi may allows the End to invest some money in more bands that it really likes? Ones that are thoroughly brilliant but will never make enough money to keep the label and its staff paid and running?
