well i did something in nuendo that made the rec button and monitor button go dissapear in the track! i know that they are in the left side of the screen (see pic ) but in the track ( red arrow ) they dissapeared  .i alredie tryed t make the track size longer, or wider but doesnt help. anyone know how i can get them back ? :) thx

Put your mouse pointer at the bottom of the grey box (where you pointed) and pull it down.
The rec button is also on the left in the inspector.

Right click on your track, chose "Track Control Settings". The dialog mainly consists of two lists, the left showing "Used Controls" and the right "Available Controls". Make sure the "Record Enable" (or whatever its name is) is on the left.

thx !! i got them back. thank u so much!!

CubaseSX and Nuendo are superficially the exact same. The differences are in the engine - Cubase is more pure audio recording software, while Nuendo is more about A/V (Audio/Video) editing and multi channel sound mixing.

Yeah, what he said. Nuendo supports up to 10.1 surround sound, whereas Cubase caps off at 5.1. Nuendo also supports more video file types, and has a max sampling rate that's ridiculously high. So it's generally geared towards film composers. From the future.
