... but damn tu pueblo locos made the entire event entirely enjoyable and enthuasiastically entertaining from my vantage point. Truly glad I didn't "cancel at the 11th hour due to unforseen financial and relocation related" circumstances, and no one tossed their cookies on my converse. A majestic ear-shattering metal show broke out on the stage amongst the mirth, merriment and social networking ;-) Met lots of cool people for the first time, met up with other folks who I'd not seen in quite sometime, kept myself out of the pokey, and remained on good terms with the Gods of Fortune.
Anyhow, it was great to be back in the thick of it all after missing, oh, the last 4 PP events (insert ALL other global metal concert events here as well) even if I might've been the only hombre nursing the bottomless cup of H20 the entire weekend. Going to do my best to make sure I hit up the next 25 PP shows as well.
In hindsight, absolutely thrilled I didn't get the chance to pick up a Metal Anal Dildo that Freak Kitchen were handing out in the lobby - don't need any trouble at the security checkpoint at the airport. At least I got a track on the sampler... disc 2, track 5. Don't know who was asleep at the wheel when they let treehugging kungfu movie watchin pinko like me submit a track (Deron!)
