It's felt like an eternity, but it's almost here! Just 8 more days. Word on the net has it that this one is even better than FotR. ;)

Here's an extensive review of the film, with spoilers. Having read the books, I didn't mind :p

The orc forces gathering before the Battle of Helms Deep. Looks great...

I hope I'm not the ONLY one looking forward to the movie here...

i'm looking forward to it, but as hyena said, the movie won't come out here in italy 'til the end of january, so i guess i'll have to avoid this thread for about a month.

have you ever considered the inherent difficulty in seeing this movie and posting here at the same time?
not to mention how uncomfortable it's going to be for your fellow viewers in the theater to have you tapping on your laptop all the time during projection.

oh, but i somehow feel i'm missing part of the spirit of this thread?

rahvin. (looking forward to the end of all *6* lotr movies :p)

There's always the option to watch an illegal downloaded copy. You could have the forum window next to whatever media player being used... :p

Anyway, I have a ticket for the show starting two minutes after midnight on December 18. This is the best possible Christmas gift I could give to myself. :D

@rahvin: But it's in the future tense. :p Hence a person who knows they will see the movie in the foreseeable future is able, and meant to post on this thread. Six movies? Sounds like the hafling weed has made your brains soft. :p

@Thanatos: Treebeard/ent pics haven't surfaced yet, but I thought this might compensate.

I'm seeing the movie on the day after the premiere with two good friends. In the biggest theatre in Scandinavia. ;)

I have never been so much into fantasy stories.. so nah..
btw 18. is my birthday.. so I guess I spend the day listening Satyricon - Volcano, Arcturus - La Masquarade Infernale (Or DT)and eating cake.. there´s enough magick and Satan for one day.
At least for me.

NP: Arcturus - Painting my horror

although i'm into fantasy quite a bit and i don't have a birthday, i tend to agree with realhazard on this one: there's already enough satan and cheap tricks in my life, at least until the end of the year. helmets & mines, too.

rahvin.

At the premiere. :D

Stod in line for six days to get those darn tickets, and no, I am not that fanatic, I _love_ the movies, but the main reason for me standing there was that there was a constant party, and I could actually get away with drinking beer every day/night...

-phyros ( wonders if it is the dwarf that bothers the dwarf ;) )

At the premiere in Holland, in some small crappy cinema.. Well, not that small/crappy, but not impressive. But hey! I am gonna see it in the premiere! :D First the Fellowship and at 0:00am 18th of December: The Two Towers!! :D Yaaaaay *happy*
A friend invited me.. She had two tickets.. I feel so honoured.. :)

I'm working my ass off to get premiere tickets(a friend works in a cinema) but if I can't I will see it on the first day it's here,20th I think.
I can't wait, the two towers is my favorite book
