LOTR Trilogy

*slight spoilers*

the scouring of the shire might have been a very badass part of the book, i loved it personally but i have to agree with peter jackson's opinion that it was realy anti climactic. i mean after the conclusion of the big war and after they destroy the ring there's pages and pages of aragorn being king and then after all the down time it picks up agian in the scouring of the shire. Thats just not very good form. but it was still very badass and i wish PJ would at least have it included on the DVD which he won't. and the thing about Liv Tyler, PJ is trying to make the romance more appearant. when i read the books i thought aragorn was gonna hook up with eowyn she's more in the book than arwyn, arwen(sp?) is. but whatever. I can't wait for xmas when i get the super deluxe two towers dvd set and get to watch the trees descimate some orcs.

laters!

Sorry about my tantrum before. Well, I have seen the movie now and it was as I expected, Jackson did a decent job but the thing that really enjoyed was not the battles or volcanos... it was when Gollum said: "The precious made me do it"... I always knew he was a true evil metalhead!

The extended versions are well worth it! I already had both on DVD, but went and saw them in the theaters again when they showed them last week...but it's a bad idea to drink a large pop right at the beginning of the movie

So it's "pop" in Canada huh?? Or, I mean, eh??

I don't know about the extended versions. I mean, yeah, it's cool and all, but we bought the, I guess, not-worth-it ones in August (and last August) and I don't know if I feel like spending the money all over again. It reeks of Star Wars, ya know? Maybe I'll splurge when my tax return gets here. Until then, the lame-o versions are going to have to do.

I call it soda. I grew up on Long Island, and they call it soda there, too. In AZ, it's pretty much a crapshoot as to what people are going to call it, because everyone here is from somewhere else. Most people call it pop, but they know what I'm talking about when I say soda.

I will die before the word "pop" comes out of my mouth when I'm asking for a Coke.

Here in the dirty, dirty we tend to call all soda " co-cola". Yes, I use this term and sound quite re - re whilst saying it, but it's bred into me by now. Aint no stoppin' it.

Hmmm....Seems the mother-in-law isn't done shopping for her little boy. Maybe I can get her to buy them.
