Loudness oldschool gig !!!

I wasn't planning on going at first (thought it was the same date as HOA) , but a friend pointed out it was a week earlier so... There will be an oldschool Loudness gig at the Dynamo club in Holland. Loudness will play in original line up (minus the passed away drummer Higuchi)and I was told they will only play stuff from the first two albums !!! Well, those are among my all time favorit albums, so I'll be there for sure. See you there Hawk ?
Now just hoping they will play my fav Loudness tune ; "Street Woman" !!

I am not sure if I'll be there Gert. Maybe we could meet up before or after the gig.

My fave is 'S.D.I', but from the first two albums I'll pick 'Angel Dust'. Been relative new to the band, so I hadn't play them as much as I should to have a more discerning choice.

That kicks ass for sure, carnut! My favs off the first two would be Loudness(of course), Lonely Player, Girl, and Angel Dust.

Guitar solo's were the main reason for me to become a Loudness fan. I might go to the Dynamo gig.

MMmmmm... sounds good but if the old school show would have been from "Disillusion" and "Thunder in the east" i´d travel to see the gig.

My favourite album is "Disillusion" and my favourite Loudness songs are from that record: "Crazy doctor", "Esper" and "Dream fantasy".

Just came back from the show with mixed feelings;
The old songs were just awesome but there also were quit
some songs I didn't know (new? from later albums?)and that really
weren't that good. "Heavy Chains" stood out by far as the best
song of the concert. Akira's guitar play is so unique, a real
joy to hear. If they just had left out a song or 4 and replaced
them by older stuff it would have been a perfect gig !!
