I just got this CD and it a Downtuned version of some of there classic songs..there playing in San Francisco on March 20th. Anyone into them???? Its not bad....All original members.....

I saw them in 86 Poisen opened for the in San Jose.... Funny Anthrax played in Sacramento the same night.... the i saw them in 87 in Concord.... Styper headlined..... We left after Loudness........

Is there early stuff like speed metal\power metal - I never heard the early stuff only the late 80s toned almost "hair metal" stuff like Crazy Nights I think.
 
They have a lot of stuff in the early heavy/speed metal vein, I would dare to say, and, really not many commercial/cheesy tracks... But, "Crazy Night" is a classic.

Try to find and listen to the tracks "Esper", "In the Mirror", "Lonely Player" (all on Rockshocks) and see if you like that...
And, to add, the songs they played on this tour from the latest record (Racing, 2004/05), "Exultation" and "Lunatic", those are full-on thrash metal, so, if you have the chance, don't miss them.
