I purchased them like 10 minutes ago. but theres no download link? does it take a while to come through?

Thanks.
I'll bear that in mind for the future samples...you're right, I'm on a "cracky" trip ;)
although the Synarchy Snare is lower tuned as well I think, if you haven't already just re-download your link, synarchy kicks and snares have been added

Couldn't stand it anymore. Just bought the snares for my next mix. Thanks Lasse!

thanks mate!
just sent you the link a moment ago.

Downloading already. I'm stoked to check 'em out!

If you're using TRIGGER I could send you one or two free kick TCIs to go with the snares if you like

I am using trigger. Maybe not for this mix, as I've programmed most the kicks and trigger is throwing midi wherever the fuck it pleases these days.

But I would LOVE the kicks! Thanks again!

Best samplea on the market in my opinion.

Any chance of some more lower tuned snares ala snare 6 in the future? That snare is all over all of my mixes, it fucking rules!!

For sure!
Snare 6 and 9 get a lot of use here
Custom snares too.

The kicks are even one level higher

Hey Lasse, I always wanted to ask this - why isn't there any samples on your site?... I can catch some clip or two occasionally on this site, but I think it would be proper to have them on your site. And it would be really helpful to have the exact list of snare/kicks, etc, because this way, honestly, I still don't what am I trying to buy... The only reason why I would want to buy a drum sample is it's sound, and if I can't hear it then the blind shopping is out of the question...
Since I really appreciate your general contribution to this community please know that in no way I'm trying to be disrespectful, consider this just as a constructive critique :)

That's mainly because I'm a total retard when it comes to internet and computers etc, I was happy that I could set up that bigcartel shop at all ;)

but I've actually hired someone to create a new (proper) page which will go online in the next 2 weeks

the problem with examples is, that there are just sooo many snares in there (which sometimes sound very different from each other), that it's almost impossible to pick some examples...
I'd probably pick the ones I like best or the more processed ones, while someone might be interested in the rawer sounding ones...if I post rawer sounding samples many people will be like "ah, they sound shite"...that's just how the internet works, people don't think, they have this one certain sound in mind, now they come across an example that doesn't give them that one sound and that means "everything sounds shit".

here's a little (incomplete) list of samples:
there are like 10 or so "signature" series snares which are "less complicated", meaning there's only 1 or 2 variations for them, each with rim, hard, medium, soft hits....easy enough.
but then there are the 9root/original snares, each of those has another 5 sub folders almost raw, almost raw+overhead mics, processed, processed plus OH, heavily processed...the samples in those 5 subfolders can sound very different from each other (for example "heavily processed" compared to "almost raw+OH"), so 9x5=45 different sounding samples...EACH o those again in the 4 articulations rim, hard, soft, medium....and again for some snares a "rim" can sound EXTREMELY different from a hard or medium hit.
that's hundreds of different sounds, which ones should I chose for the examples? :D

what I usually do is send out a collection of about 10-15 different samples to whoever writes me an email....but those 15something samples are randomly picked or chosen according to MY taste, so they'll never really show the variety of sounds in the pack.

now one could say "well, just pick some strongly processed ones and some raw ones to show the range".....in theory that's a good idea, but in reality this is what happens:
the potential buyer receives 10 examples, he's looking for a certain type of sound...let's say cracky and modern, now there are only 2 of those 10 examples cracky and modern, the rest are thick or ringy or almost raw or whatever....
the potential buyer will think "why should I pay that much if I don't even like most of the snares"....
well, the answer is: because there are SO MANY different varieties in the pack that even if you like only 20% of them, it's still PLENTY.....
but to show him that I'd have to send him ALL the samples.

so atm the easiest way for me to handle that is to reply to requests I'm getting per mail individually...tell me what you need/like and I'll send you some examples that could fit that category as well as some very different ones.

the thing is....I'm not actually making money off these samples (german tax laws and VAT laws are retarded for someone doing small time international business that only includes downloadable stuff), so I never wanted to spend uch money to create a proper page etc....
well as I said, a proper page will be up soon...I have still no clue how to handle the example-problem though.

atm (until my new page goes live) I'm even processing and sending out the links manually to each and every buyer....that also means that sometimes people have to wait for a couple of hours for the download link....everything a huge PITA and effort.....that seems totally unprofessional, and it is.I'm a shit business man and have no clue about internet/webdesign, all I know is how to record them, no idea how to handle the business side of things :D

but yeah, it's gonne get better very soon....send me a mail to lammert[at]lsd[dash]tonstudio[dot]de and I'll send you some kick snare and tom examples.

Ha ha - that is a brilliant post. I am pretty useless with computers etc and actually don't have much interest either. Love the brutal honesty, Lasse. I am a very happy customer an got a laugh out of having to process each order manually like that. A real labour of love!

I just have to say that since I own the samples they made it more or less in every mix I made.
From Indie to core to atzen-punk.

Couldn't be a happier user. And I haven't seen a single "company" that updates there products as generous as Lasse.

<--- Happy user from the beginning!
