Lyckantropen (2002)

Most ULVER fans will recognize at least the name of this, since one of the more recent albums basically serves as the soundtrack for this short Norwegian film. There isn't much to be said without giving away the thrill of this brief 29 minute movie, all I can say is there is no coincidence between the names LYCKANTROPEN and ULVER. Not much dialogue and honestly not much going on at all until the last few minutes, where everything comes into place and the viewer's head is set into a whirlwind of thoughts.
The bonus features are what makes this a great DVD, as there is a fairly lengthy interview with ULVER (mostly with Garm actually) that covers much of the band's career, and perhaps lifts the veil of mystery surrounding them, at least a little bit.
Made for film as art lovers and ULVER fans.
8/10
