Hey guys, i have some interesting news.
I did a large research of Lykathe's info and i found this:

Look at the 6th post, from up to down.
Tomas Corn says they are kinda testing a new singer, he says ''We hope SHE will be OK''.
Btw, Lykathea Aflame's demos are recorded with a female vocalist, and it sounds way too good!
It says it was posted 16th february 2007, so Lykathe will be recording a new album almost for sure!

Excellent news. I've never heard the demos so the fact that they're looking for a female vocalist is slightly disconcerting. Sign of the gimmickry to come? I hope not.Then again Ptoe's vocals are the LEAST impressive asset of the band, imo, so any change might be for the better.

maybe im a tradionalist, but i really dont understand why metal bands get female vocalists. if nothing else, it just makes the band very difficult to take 100% seriously.


that being said, they are a great band. Elvenefris is sucha unique sounding recording....very good stuff.

I keep in contact with Tomas on occasion but I haven't heard from him in awhile. This is good news. Hopefully they can finally record something substantial soon.
