Is this album worth picking up?

I've seen people fellate and bash this album, so I'm confused as all hell. I don't remember if I heard an mp3 or not (And am too lazy to search for one at the moment). I've lost track. So what do the RC Cola'ers think?

I don't view it as the masterpiece a lot claim it is. But I also don't see it as the piece of shit the haters think it is.

It's melodic death/grind with clean and guttural vocals, and very epic passages at times reminiscent of something Melechesh, Nile, Orphaned Land or even Aeternus might pull off.

My biggest gripe is that it's way too long at over an hour.

In the end, yes, I'd say it's worth picking up if you can find it for a decent price, but I'd get early Aeternus and latter Melechesh first. Hope this helps.

I got mine from www.cahrecords.com for $9.50 p/p. Ths is actually my seond copy. I picked my first one up from Willowtip for $10, but traded it for the rare 2CD thingy from Until Death Overtakes Me.

Best. Musicstore. Evar. My favorite that I've been to anyhow.

It's supposed to be the biggest used music store on the continent, is it not? It was pretty fucking big. Weird how all the metal was categorized as either "black metal" or "power metal". I ended up buying 13 cds + a vinyl, and after tax it cost me $160. Not bad at all. I started to regret 75% of those purchases after a week or two. Oh well.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was, fucker's huge. The LA one isn't nearly as good, but still kicks ass. I've heard the Berkeley store is the best one, but haven't been. Yet.

I second every Doomcifer post in this thread . I have to add that my favorite song is , after many many many listens : An old man and a child

It's pretty awesome when you're in the mood for it.

Right on.

Listening to this for the first time in a long time. Tis beautiful.

ANyone else still listen to this?

I downloaded it a little bit ago but haven't gotten around to listening to it yet. Sampled a little bit of it, sounded cool. Looking forward to hearing it.

I'll give it a spin now and then.

It's pretty good, although admittedly it's a pretty daunting listen. Took me a little while to get into it, and I even considered trading it for awhile before one day it finally clicked with me and said "Fuck that, this rules"
