Lyrics for "Theocracy"

Ok... time for me to officially start my first thread in this room!

Here's the thing. I've tried to find the lyrics online, with no luck at all. Yes, I do have the CD and liner notes. The reason for this is that I have lyrics to favorite albums transferred to my iPod for reading along sometimes with the music. I've gotten other band's lyrics from online sources to use on the iPod, and it saved me from having to type out whole text files for this! And I'm not the greatest typist, by far!!

Sooooo... what I'm doing now as a pet project for myself is, of course, typing out all the lyrics (a song a day) and saving them as .txt files for iPod use. I'd like to make them available for other listeners to use.

Matt, if you read this, would you give me permission to post the lyrics somewhere, copyright noted and all? Thanks for reading this and considering it.

Well, thanx Killerah! I still wouldn't mind posting them somewhere else a little more accessable, though. I'm still working on it, and I need the typing practice anyways. Der Schrift made a small, but good point, too.

Just a thought to save you all the typing: any newer printer that has a scanner should have Optical Character Recognition software. My weanie $99 printer does. It's real slick. If I scan text and then save it using the software, it will convert it to a editable document. I have to check it for mistakes and do a little cleanup, but it's 99% accurate and the whole process takes just a few minutes, rather than hours of typing!

SeaStorm, I appreciate the suggestion. Unfortunately, since I have an older scanner, the software that came with it is obsolete for my newer system. That includes the OCR software. I did think of it, though, many a time.

With Christmas coming up, I didn't have much time to work on this. Since Firestream.net has (most of) the lyrics, I'll just get them there for my iPod use and maybe I'll suggest the "Twist of Fate" lyrics to them.
