Meanings of Theocracy Songs

Hey, i'm using the lyrics for "Laying the Demon to Rest" and "Mirror of Souls" as poetry for a highschool class. I need a prose type thing to use as an introduction. I was wondering if Matt or any of the other members could tell me their feelings on the lyrics, or why they wrote them...or just something like that. thanks!

there are several interviews with matt floating around on the internet, and in some of them i think he explains his inspiration and meaning for certain songs. maybe google "theocracy interview" or "matt smith theocracy interview"
