M-audio audiophile 24/96 or Audigy 2

a friend of mine is thinking which soundcard he should choose. he is also into recording with drumkit from hell etc , cubase.
which one is better ? for picture's you can google !

I love my 24/96, no problems at all. I had an E-mu 0404 before, but the drivers were total shit and the card, after crashing my harddrive the first time I installed it, never would transmit a left signal.

Creatives cards are actually getting better and better, however the Audigy can't compete with the Audiophile in any way. I think the Audiophile is cheaper too, and sooooo much better.

Another vote for the Audiophile. Audigy's = crapola.
