M-audio Firewire 410 problem...

Yesterday I recived my Maudio Firewire 410...
And I got a problem...
All day I try to connect it to my laptop, I bought a 4/6pin firewire cable but it's weird situation...
The Power On light seems to flash all the time

Windows has installed new equipment, new drivers and after installation, reboot, light should stop flashing and windows should recognize it right?
software is installed, cubase cant use FW410 asio...
I dont know whats the problem...
Anoyone know the solution?

Before I had Maudio profire 2626 and it worked fine...

Why aren't you still using your Profire 2626? I've heard that the previous generation of firewire interfaces (the 410 and 418) were REALLY unreliable...

i had to sell it...i wanted to buy something smaller and cheaper...but something that works fine... ;/

Should've gone for a Profire 610 or Focusrite Saffire IMO!
