WHOAH!!!! Now I've gone from being guilt free about not going to wanting to go really badly, this is better than Vader. And that's really saying something. Or maybe it's just as good as Vader, but in a different way.

Of course this is around the same time as the Cryptopsy show, so it's still no choice between the two. I hope Cryptopsy gets some great opening bands...they should release the dates pretty soon.

I've never listened to Macabre. I was really disappointed when Vader dropped out, but based on what all of you have said, it seems that they are a suitable replacement.

the way their frontman presents himself on stage is funny. as your aware, macabre is a humor band. they act the same way on stage. last time i saw em, the frontman had a headset mic, sounds fruity, but it allowed him to interact more when doing his vocals (since he also plays guitar)

I haven't heard much Macabre, but IMO Vader is better than Macabre.

Either way I guess I won't see Cannibal Corpse this time around. I've seen them twice this year, and seeing them again with a lackluster band opening for them isn't worth my while.
