Mackie Big Knob - Buzz, hum, low quality and faulty?

Just ordered the Monitor Station.. would've gone the Central Station route but since the budget for this is too small plus all the multicore cabling and all has already been made to use with a Mackie BK in "that" position so the Monitor Station also means minimal change in that regard.

Ermz.. I'm looking to get an SPL 2Control for my home setup later on. Seems like a really solid unit, plus a colleague got the Model 2381 a few months back and that is also a very nice controller!
I'm already adding that Aeron chair to my christmas wish list too!

Awesome, I don't think you'll be disappointed on either purchase. Keep an eye out on eBay for the 2Control - it's where I got mine, virtually brand new condition. All you need to do in order to make the US models 240V friendly is flip a switch and the fuses. Then again you're pretty close to Germany, so SPL gear might be cheaper there than I realize.

Aeron has been a godsend for my posture. Only reason I'm able to do these 14 hour days without dying of cramps.
