So far my only preamps have been my Mackie 1604 VLZ3 and my Duet interface preamps.
I've also been using the mixer as a monitor station.

Here's the issue.
I've decided against recording full bands, so I don't really need a 16 channel mixer anymore and I feel like it's just taking up space.
I still intend to record vocals, DI's, and simple stuff like that so that's where the RNP comes into play.
I have an RNC which I like using when tracking vocals and I figured the RNP would suit me well and make a great addition to my little studio. So in essence my belief is that the RNP preamps will be superior to my Mackie mixer preamps and my Duet preamps. Is this a reasonable assessment?
I'd also be saving myself a little bit of room which is something I've grown to really appreciate :)

So basically I'd be selling my second Delta 1010 interface, a 16 channel mixer, and acquiring an RNP and Big Knob.
Sound like a smart decision?
