I just bought a pair of Mackie MR5's. Alone they cost between 149-199 a piece. For the pair I paid 179. I dont have the ability to go down to a not so near GC to do comparisons, so I bought these on a whim, mainly because of the quality I associate with mackie, and the price was just to good for 2 monitors. Ive read that they have better bass short of buying a sub with the yamaha's, not as boomy as krk's, and a lil better than the comparable class of m-audios. So did I get a good deal?
