Mackie Onyx pres

Has anyone tried these? I'm sorry if this has been covered before..

I have a 1620 in my home project studio but never got around to using it on serious recordings (due to working 24/7). Has anyone got around to using these? I'm selling my mackie, and currently looking around for a good deal on a Digi 002 (for school). I'm also very interested in the Onyx 1200f. I would like 16 channels on the digi 002.. 4 digi pres, 4 analog I/O from onyx->digi, 8 adat I/O from onyx. Hopefull its possible haha.

Im using a Mackie Onyx Mixer tomorrow in the studio where im tracking drums, Ill let you know how I get on. My old school had them, but most things went through the 737 there, so I don't really remember using the Oynx pre's much.

I've been looking at the 1200f as well, for $1600 it looks like quite a bargain.
I haven't really read any reviews yet though.
