Madder Mortem "Desiderata"

Yup. Desiderata is fucking great! One of the best albums this year for sure.

Anyone into Opeth should check this out. Its not really that similar, but i think it has sort of the same appeal.

I thought their last album bordered on nu-metal. I wouldn't recommend the band.

actually, i'm really disappointed by 'Materia' (considering how much i liked 'Classica', 'Novembrine Waltz' was not that bad either). average songs with really weak clean vocals. i'd rather prefer each single song from 'Desiderata' than the whole 'Materia' album...

a disappointment for sure, but it grew on me quite a bit. but still I miss guitar solos and some more aggressive/growly parts

why wouldnt someone like madder mortem? its geniunely exciting to listen to, firsttime round theres just no telling what will come next.
