Hey guys! I just recorded a cover of Volumes song "Edge of the Earth" and seeing my previous mixing practices success, I think it's safe to say at least someone will enjoy taking a shot at mixing these. And in similiar fashoin as my previous mixing practices, I have exported the actual synths that I used for this so those that don't want to create their own synths can use mine, and also provided a synths MIDI for those that want to fiddle witht heir own synths! So without further ado:

1x Drum MIDI
1x Bass MIDI
1x Zombass 3 Render
1x Synths MIDI
5x Synth Lead Layers Render
2x Synth Soundscape Layers Render
4x Synth Drums Layers Render
4x Rythm Guitars L1+L2+R1+R2
2x Distant Rythm Guitars L+R
2x Lead Guitars L+R
1x Reference Mix
1x Readme

Do note that the synths are completely raw and will need further processing. I have stripped them of all processing I had in my own mix prior to exporting them.

Everything recorded at 48KHz, 24 bit through my Axe-Fx 2 with my Ibanez RG2228 equipped with EMG 808 pickups.

Here is my mix/playthrough:

In this mix I used:

Steven Slate Drums 4 for Drums+ blended with some custom samples for the snare
Axe-Fx 2 for Guitars/Bass Processing
Zombass 3 as the bass sampler
Xpand2 for most electronic/synth stuff

You are 100% free to use your own mix as a means of promoting your own services however you want, as long as you credit the recording to Daybreak Studio and link to our Facebook Page:

Also, if you want to you may also link to the video playthrough I did of this song.

Hope you guys enjoy these tracks! Let me know if there's any problems. :)

Great job, man!
Any chance of uploading the stems somewhere else except google drive?
There seems to be something constantly wrong with my account or smth :( Can`t dowload anything from out there(( i would be really glad to have a chance to work with your files again)

Bay Studio: Thanks man! Yeah, I always feel sad that I'm unable to supply you guys with vocal tracks since I'm immensely awful in regards to singing, haha. >: Anyone that wants to lay down vocals on this are weolcome though, of course!

Sulde: Of course man, I uploaded it to Copy. You can get the link here: https://copy.com/2VeZwl86hOnK

Mickrich: Nice tone! Really digging it. :)

ValleyStudios: "You're playing the beginning wrong."

Entirely possible! I would like to make the claim though that a note off or two in the beginning does not render the rest of the cover worthless. :)

"What are the tempos for this??? Cubase wont do it for me when i drag it in."

I believe the whole song is in 120 BPM.
