Maiden Albums - in order...

I've always wanted to start a new thread....

Mark's qizzing of Brave New World sparked that age-old thought through my addled brain - "What is my favourite Irons album?"

Then I thought - "What order would I place ALL Irons albums?"

So, for the sake of this conversation, I have included only studio releases (fitting Live After Death in there would be bloody difficult...)

So...

2. Powerslave
3. Somewhere In Time
4. Iron Maiden
5. The Number Of The Beast
6. Killers
7. Brave New World
8. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
9. The X Factor
10. No Prayer For The Dying

    Before the protests start.....it's not that I don't LIKE the albums at the bottom......I'm just putting them in my preferred order.....

The last few are hard cause which one I like better depends on my mood. But no prayer is definately the worst

Is too hard for me to put them in order, as they are always changing. I don't even have a "favourite" as such. It usually rotates between 'The X Factor', 'Somewhere In Time', 'Powerslave', 'Number Of the Beast' and 'Piece of Mind'...

My top 4 changes all the time, as do 9 and 10. Virtual XI been at the bottom of the list since the first month after it's release.

I'm probably one of the very few people that would put Fear Of The Dark so high, and yet dislike the title track.

Damn that's difficult, especially the top three and bottom four. I like them all really, every album has some good tracks on it.
I used to listen to every album in a row quite a lot when I was younger, around the time of Seventh Son but it's a major marathon now!

I have alway believed that the first five plus live after Death are the best(but i haven't really heard much of the others

Actually,the only maiden CD i bought since then was Brave New World( i got given Fear of the Dark on cassette a few years ago and wasn't really that impressed..but i listened to it recently and quite enjoyed it!!!!!

Sydo, FOTD was my 2nd Maiden album. I only had NOTB and FOTD for ages and got right into both of them before I got any other albums, so FOTD holds a place in my heart

I got them as seperate albums too.
The only difference is that it doubles my hatred of them.
