I'm wondering how Virtual XI could not be in anyone's bottom 2.

I don't think you can fairly rate them like this. When you have listened to a classic album so many hundred times. Its pretty hard to compair it fairly to a new album written 20 years later. I mean Killers is a great album and most would probally rate it above BNW becasue its a classic and BNW isn't . And when it came out is was fresh and origional but no matter what Iron Maiden release now, it will never have the same excitment and feel of origionality that those classics had when they were released .

This is the interesting thing with Maiden, they don't have a clear 'best album' or 'worst album', and fans all have different opinions.

It seems that NOTB and Powerslave are getting a good average though.
