Live After Death DVD out in 2008 + surprise
Besides Kevin Shirley stating that he already made the 5.1 audio mix for this dvd (but leaving the original stereo intact as option), Brasilian EMI website launched today the following saying by Steve Harris on Iron Maiden's Live After Death DVD:
"Brasil is one of our favorite places to play. Brasilian fans are passionate since the first time we played there, in 1985, on the World Slavery Tour. That show is still probably our biggest in terms of attendance. Also, everytime we've been there in Brasil we had an amazing support from the fans. We are often asked about the highest points in our career and the Rock In Rio shows (1985 and 2001) always come to mind.
Needless to say we're very happy to go back and see our friends over there - who knows, even a few we met for the first time in 1985! We included the Rock In Rio I as an extra for the release of Live After Death DVD, which we're preparing for next year. Some people can even try to find themselves on the screen! I've always loved the Powerslave gigs and I find them to be some of the best of our history. It will be a pleasure to take it back to Brasil. We'll have a lot of fun over there!" concludes Steve Harris
Have a nice weekend
