make it stereo

yo peeps,
as i a-b'd my recordings with other stuff i noticed that,
even though i have various elements panned hard left, right
the final master lacks this wide atmosphere that i have
heard from users on this board done completly itb.
so whats the trick ? i heard about adding little delays here and there,
also theres some plugins to extend the stereo image bandwise,
which i havent tested yet though.

Dual mono eq's seem to help to widen up my master and guitars, so does eqing the side channel with my Plpar EQ on the master, the rest is just good mixing i discovered!

yeah its all about mixing, my question seems rather naive
but i am only refering to stereo placement tricks.
like when you listen to toto with headphones :Smug:
