Can anyone tell me about their album (s). Heard them for the first time on the ProgPowerIII sampler. They sound promising.

I have all 3 albums that I've come across... I can't say anything bad about this band.. I hope they get a slot at PP4.
If you like aggressive power-metal, then look no further.
The 3 albums I have are;
Hyperion, 2002
Roots of Eternity, 1999
Darkness With Tales to Tell, 2001
If you really dig that track of the PP3 sampler, then you will really enjoy their albums. I picked up "Darkness" about 6-7 months ago to try them out.. then got the other 2 at PP3.

Drakness is a great album, if you avoid focusing on the vocals...what I've heard of Hyperion is very good as well.
the guy's got a pretty original sounding voice.. pretty powerful at times too.. didn't take me that long to get used to as saayyy.. Gravedigger, which took me a few listens, but I like them too.
by the way - for those of you who don't know.. the singer from Manticora sounds nothing like the singer in Gravedigger.. this was just an example from my listening..

i also have Darkness and the latest album seems be even better from what i've heard. why are they on PPIII CD? is there any possibility that they are going to play at PPIV?

I now have "Darkness..." and "Hyperion." Though I haven't had loads of time to listen to both, at first glance it sounds like Hyperion is a nice leap forward for the band.
