many megadeth fans here..?

Nothing "new"as such. Just previously unreleased live material.
It consists of four audio discs and one live DVD concert recorded at Hammersmith '92. Disc four is a live concert recorded at Wembley '90. The rest is mostly songs taken fro albums and concerts here and there.
It's got a cool booklet and the box design is pretty awesome.

Yeah it is...:headbang:

Me to, its still my fave album..:kickass:

The only album Im not keen on is TWNAH..but i think its the best album cover since RIP..

i like every album but TWNAH. it sounds forced, like the band wanted to retire but made a record anyways. i even like risk more than TWNAH

I really like TWNAH. Risk & Crypic Writings are the only Megadeth albums that I'm not particularly fond of.

Megadeth was always hit and miss with me. I usually like a few songs off of each album, but as a whole they never held my interest for a whole album. I have Megadeth Greatest Hits though, and that's got almost all my fav songs on it, and some cool remasters.

Also have the DVD One Night in Buenos Aires and enjoy that quite a bit.

I'll second that, although I found the sound on that DVD really lacking (maybe it was the guitar tone or something).

United Abominations, Countdown and Peace Sells are the only Megadeth albums I can actually willingly listen to front to back and enjoy. Most of their albums have too much filler.

I used to be that way..and I don't know what happened.

Back in the EARLY days and up to 88-89 I only owned a couple and liked a few tracks.

Didn't think much about them throughout the 90's.

Now I have EVERY CD and a few DVD's and listen straight through.

I really love 'em now...but hey we all have different tatses but we all agree on one thing.

METAL!! :kickass:

Oh and btw poundingmetal..my all time fave COMES off Peace Sells! My Last Words!!

Agreed, the sound mix on that concert leaves a little to be desired. But I find that to be the case on most really heavy metal concerts. Producers have a hard time mixing all that noise clearly. Really the Godsmack and Rage DVDs are the only two super heavy DVDs that I have which I consider 5-star audio production.

Just wait till you hear Dream Evil's DVD then. Most Ryche DVDs are well mixed and produced (especially both Live Mindcrime DVDs) Art of Live being the big exception. I'll have to track down that Godsmack DVD, they were incredible live.

Metaldude, My Last Words = great track. That whole album was. I'd probably toss my favorite 'deth track to one of their classics: A Toute Le Monde or Hangar 18.

Though you have to agree with me that Promises is one of the most kickass balads out there, I also like 1000 times goodbye.
I have a cast iron Vic belt buckle, I'll take a photo to show you, I's quite cool

thats funny, i liked promises and recipe for hate...warhorse and didn't like the rest really. when is just am i evil, return to hangar isn't as good as the original, dread and the fugitive mind was already on capitol punishment and the rest of the songs seemed generic

I don't like TWNAH but 'Promises' is one of the best Megadeth songs ever, wish it came in UA instead of the remake of 'A Tout Le Monde'

What about RIP? That one's all killer no filler!

I hate that remake... It's pointless, inferior to the original and it's right in the middle of the album, so it breaks up the flow of the album for me.

I disagree. UA have much more fillers than KIMB, PSBWB, RIP, CTE, "Youthanasia" or SFSGSW (which have some weak fillers IMO). CW directly have bad songs, so are the rest and therefore not counting.

Totally agree, that's why that album didn't had as much points with me as it should.

I think all the songs on TWNAH are great, with the exceptions of maybe the title track, Burning Bridges & Losing My Senses.
