many megadeth fans here..?

I love Megadeth. Its my fav band of all time actually. Im not interested in Judas Priest but I have my ticket for the show to see Testament and Megadeth tear the place up in Stockholm.

I like all the albums, not equally of course but I enjoy them all. There is something about ow Dave Mustaine writes music and spits out his lyrics that just hooks me.

I love Testament, but I was very disapointed by their

Thats unfortunate. I have never seen Testament live so this will be my first. I hope they will be better than when you saw them.

Regarding Priest I have just never listened to them. I tried to get into some o ftheir stuff after I bought my ticket but it hasnt quite clicked with me yet.

Fuck yeah! Megadeth are amazing, I have their first three albums and United Abominations, still looking to get one of their dvds. There a great band but they do have some filler, even though some of you exaderated how much abit.

I couldn't listen to them , but it won't surprise me. Specially H&H sounds wicked, Dio hasn't lost it's magic.

i have been a big fan of megadeth since peace sells.
seen em on loads of occasions-including those two live cd's mentioned in the warchest-hammersmith 92 aqnd wembley arena in 90-that was with slayer and testament..cool gig...,and i have even played on the same bill as them at festivals a few times,which is always cool!!

newer albums i am not as fond of-the last one was the best of the last 4 for me...nothing really tops RIP,which is basically an amazing album.

I saw priest in the land down under back in September, if they are not one of the most electrifying live bands on this earth then shoot me its hard to believe they r like reaching 60 years old, wanted to see testament also but 18+ gigs really suck for 16 year olds without fake ids in their wallets, shit happens then you die.

has anyone herd of anything megadeth are going to be doing after the priest feast, like a world tour supporting their new album, if so plz post reply in my "megadeth album 09 thread", greatly appreciated.

You miss out on one tour when they come to australia and regret it every day til a new tour is announced, like 3 years down the track.

As far as Im concerned megadeth is the only band out there. UA was the return to form that Ive been waiting for since Rust In Peace. I like plenty of other bands but noone says "fuck you" like Dave Mustaine.

Well its proffesionally recorded, both video and sound and Dave mentions that they record the show once during the set. The quality is great. Maybe it wasnt intended for release and maybe it was just for television or something. That I do not know.

As a kid I liked Megadeth alot. Saw them open for Iron Maiden in 1988.. old..The last album I really loved by them was Rust in Piece. Countdown to Extinction and Cryptic Writings had some good tracks.. but after Friedman left, so did I.

I've listened to the new stuff, its ok. There's some good material. I just don't care anymore. I'd rather listen to Lamb of god or Down or Marty Friedman's solo records lol
