so lets speak about Marshall 1960BC cabinet.
rated @100W loaded with 4x12"G12M greenbacks, mono only @16 ohm, B (straight front) type... it seems to be quite rare compared to standard 1960 with G12T-75 or 1960BV/AV with V30... so i couldn't find much useful info about it. i checked some impulses made with 6L6 head and they sound promising...

i'm about to get one so i wonder how well would it go with 6505+ under SM57/MD421 for recording.

and also how much would it be worth second hand in Europe?
just to make sure i don't pay too much for it.

Got something simliar here, the Marshall 425a loaded w/ 4 X greenbacks. It's my main live cab, I like it. It's a bit darker then something with V30's but pleasant and still clear. Got mine for 200 euro used. Have only recorded with it once but it wasn't a metal band so we were going for less high gain tones and there was a fair amount of cleans in the song which it handled very well.
