When I beat the game and the credits rolled there was no final save option thing. Was there supposed to be? Thanks.

Nope, it's all good, ME2 will take the data from the first game and adjust itself accordingly.

I highly reccomend buying it. It's very, very cheap now and with the new one coming out there's no better time to do it.

I mean, I HATE games with guns. But Mass Effect still made my top 10 along with Fallout 3.

I just acquired it after weeks searching.

Holy crap...probably the most epic game ever. Dragon Age (AWESOME game too), Oblivion, Morrowind (both great games as well), etc. pale in comparison. I've been playing it for three days straight. Yesterday I played for 6 hours without realizing it.

I'm gonna lose my shit when 2 comes out.

You should really do every side quest you can because the main story line is MUCH shorter than Dragon Age. By more than half.

But check out the new class and character trailers on youtube! Mass Effect 2 looks so epic and even more movie like.

I'm skeptical about the whole data carrying over thing, I forgot what ending I even got but I know I went back and did it multiple times to see everything so it's not really what I got. Either way I'm pumped for the second game.

So last night I dreamed about Mass Effect 2. First I was playing it, and it was awesome. Then it became real and I was commander Shepard. I was in a hospital (since I had been playing in the Hospital in Fallout 3 the night before), and I got into this terminal (Fallout style) and watched a view of the whole Galaxy being swallowed like water going down a drain. Then the view changed to Earth, some ocean. There was a hole in the bottem of the ocean and it was just draining, but everything was reflected above the surface of the water, but vice versa.

So instead of the little tornado drain there was a big tornado of water shooting out from the top of the empty space that made up the actual draining water. All the while the sky was a very dark grey and there was heavy rain and lightning.

Then credits rolled saying "Coming January 26th..."

Most likely thing will be that you can choose a savegame file and the game will port the data from there.
