Master of Puppets - 20 Years Old

I can't believe it but M.O.P. is 20 years old !

Much as I don't like the mag Kerrap have put together a great idea, they've re-produced the album with bands like Machine Head / Trivium re-recording all the tracks.

It will be interesting to see how it pans out, the cd should be in next weeks edition.

Yeah, that's just what I want to hear - my favourite Metallica LP, and definitely one of my top 10 LP's by anyone, defiled by unmitigated shite like Machine Head (oh, so much promise from Mr Flyn whilst in Vio-Lence, thrown away.......).

A classic LP, from a band on the brink of cracking the big-time, still hungry and fresh, that's all you need to know.
If I want to hear a shitty band doing shitty covers of classic songs, I know who I will go and see............<cough>

Come one AssMaster take a chill pill yeah MH have made some ropey albums since "Burn My Eyes", but trust me their latest opus "Through the Ashes of Empires" is cracking

They are a top live band as well.

But back on the subject MOP is in my top 10 albums of all time, but hey this CD is free some of the versions will be without doubt CR@P but some of the interpretations might surprise us all. :Smokin:
