my male friend is the "slave", and the "Master" is his girlfriend
and i was wondering if my freind had gone insane, wondering how any sane person could even consider being the "slave" in this type of contract and was wondering about the type of psychological illness that could cause a person to willingly subject themself to this kind of thing

from what i have observed the people that willingly agree to be the "slaves" in these "contracts" seem to be as if they might be suffereing from (potentially severe) psychological problems causing masochism (a seriously masochistic person can't really be sane, can he?)

What the fuck is wrong with you people? It's a contract that the slave willingly signs, and the slave can veto the contract whenever he/she pleases. The terms of when veto is acceptable (causing family stress, psychological trauma) are pretty fair.

Why would you involve the government in something like this? Fetishes are fetishes and as long as no non-consenting entities are harmed, people can do whatever they want.

Seriously, that contract isn't even that extreme. some people like being told what to do, and what better than to find a life/sexual partner who will responsibly tell that person what to do? it's none of our/the government's business unless the master breaks the terms of the contract

i don't remember what country you're in (sorry) but here in USA this type of contract is actually illegal, the "slave" is considered the victim of psychological abuse, and the "master" is considered the abuser

well, according laws against abusing the mentally handicapped, most countries would say that the person who is willing to be the slave in a master/slave contract is not psychologically healthy and that the master in such a contract is psychologically abusing the slave
