anyone got any inside details on the production/equipment used for the drum tracking? its one of the most natural drum sounds out there (at least in the overdriven mastering world of today).

Writing-wise it's ok, but I really like the production. Great organic feel to it that a lot of albums lack these days.

Even the girlfriend thought it was interesting when the video was on M(uppet)TV last night.

yeah their drummer is really good

just wondering what kinda pre's and mic's were used, i've had over 60 drum sets in my studio, none of them sound like this, even after head replacement + tuning from scratch using drum dials (i've been playing drums for 11 years and know my way around tuning a kit).

just curious what preamps i guess i could say, because i think thats the only thing that seperates me from getting sounds like that.

i believe it was recorded in jupiter studios in washington
