I have 2 machines, dual core tower 100% audio work and then a laptop for internet and such.
I was (as some of you hve a read) going to go dual monitor and buy 2 LCD screens as my tower is using an old CRT monitor i had spare.
I came across http://www.maxivista.com/ on the sonar forum.
It allows my laptop to act as a 2nd monitor over ethernet.
Laptop is a 1.7ghz celeron and it keeps up rpetty damned well with sonar's meters on the mixer!
Check it out those of you wanting to go dual but don't have the cash!
